Building a community of beekeepers across Melbourne's northwest since the early 2000s.
The Northwestern Bee Club began in the early 2000s when a small group of passionate beekeepers in the western suburbs of Melbourne decided to share their knowledge and enthusiasm. What started as informal gatherings in backyards has grown into a vibrant community of over 40 active members.
Over the years, we've helped countless people begin their beekeeping journey, worked together through bee disease challenges like Varroa mite detection, and built a supportive network of apiarists from all walks of life.
Our club has always been about more than just bees โ it's about community, learning, and supporting one another.
